The Tour

Franconian lake district & Altmuehl valley

The Franconian lake district is a man-made lake landscape developed in the 1980s. Along with a segment of the Altmühl valley bike path and the exciting town of Weißenburg, you’re in for a great short cycling holiday, which is suitable for all types of cyclists, including families with kids. We’ve already included a boat trip and several entry concessions, so you can go ahead and explore Roman times, the middle ages or Jewish life in multiple museums and exhibits along the route.
